Take Action for Physical Therapy

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has proposed cutting physical therapy services by 9% in its 2021 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. That means PTs and PT assistants who serve Medicare beneficiaries will face a significant loss of income (and patients will lose access to care) when the cuts take effect on January 1, 2021.

With the current instability in the health care system, now is not the time to reduce payment to providers under the Medicare program. This 9% cut, on top of the current economic crisis, is unsustainable for the physical therapy profession and patients.

Use our quick and easy platform to contact your members of Congress and ask them to oppose these Medicare cuts.
